Donald "Don" A. Edgar, age 72, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. Don was born in Elyria and graduated from Elyria High School in 1972. He had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 35 years. He worked as a truck driver and in the warehouse for United Initiators for many years before retiring. He was a long-time member of the North Ridgeville Lion's Club and enjoyed spending hours building model trains and woodworking. Don was a proud grandfather, uncle and great-uncle and cherished every minute spent with his family and cousins. He loved baseball and opened his home every summer to the Lake Erie Crushers players calling them his "summer sons".
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mary Jane (nee Cope), bonus children, Tina (John) Seiling, Richard (Mariclare) Logue, Sean (Melissa) Logue, grandchildren, Zachary Logue, Brianna (Michael) Logue- Olszewski, Lindsay Logue, Emily Logue and Garek Logue, sister, Gayle (Daniel) Webber of Elyria and Brother, Robert Edgar of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Leona Kay (nee Clemont) Edgar, brothers, Frank and Dale Edgar.
Friends may call Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 12PM until the time of services at 2PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A reception will follow at the Bogner Life Celebration Center, adjacent to the funeral home.
