Donald Joseph Falkowski Sr. was born October 11, 1931, in Rutland Vermont, to Martha "Esther" Ranslow, and Frank Falkowski. He was raised in upstate New York.
Donald was married to the love of his life, Norma Louise Beebe, in 1949. Together they reared 6 children and touched many lives for the Lord. He and Norma were baptized into the Albany SDA church in 1952, where he was a deacon and a leader of the Pathfinder youth group.
He was a deeply dedicated father and incredibly hard worker. At one point he held four jobs at the same time to provide for his family, often getting by on only four hours of sleep each night.
In 1962 he moved to Cleveland, TN, where he was a faithful member of the Bowman Hills SDA Church for 63 years. He served as a Deacon, Elder, and a member of both the Church and affiliated School Boards. He worked as head mechanic for Bishop Baking company for 30 years, after which he began working along side his sons, Don Jr and Tim, at Kitchens by Design, until he retired in 2008.
Since then his main focus and passion were to give Bible Studies, teaching others about the blessing of the Seventh-Day Sabbath and the salvation found in Jesus Christ. He had a big heart and was always willing to give more than he received. There was often an extra chair at the table for his children's friends and many times they took in families that needed a place to stay along the way. He lived by the motto, "you can't outgive the Lord," always placing his trust in God to provide for his every need.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Esther and Frank Falkowski, his first wife Norma, his second wife Lela, and his great grandson Ozzy Falkowski. As well as his Sisters; Betty Gaylord, Julia Cox, Patricia Gant and Jean Onley, and his brothers John, Frank, and Gordan Falkowski.
Left to carry on his Legacy are his children, Don Falkowski Jr., (Carol Young), Pamela Falkowski Price, (Jerry), Dale Falkowski, (Luz Elena), Tim Falkowski, Pete Falk, (Mari), and Laura Falkowski Weaver (Joe).
His grandchildren- Donald Joseph "Joey" Falkowski III, (Kelly-Jo), Kasi Price Schreader, (Adam), Ryan Price, (Jordyn), Andrea Turvey Kadlub, Greg Falkowski (Desiree'), T.J. and Jordan Falkowski, Chris Falk, Pamela Weaver Evans, Angela Weaver Adams, (Austin), and Joella Weaver Schlisner, (Devin). Along with his great grandchildren, Olsyn Falkowski, Noah and Finleigh Schreader, Charlotte, Henry, and Theodore Price, Luke and Reagan Kadlub, Anthony and Sophia Falkowski, Juleah Falkowski, Colby and Tyler Evans.
Honorable mention to his closest and loyal friend, Terry Ponder, his friend and caring nurse, Staci, and RA Kaylan, who all made him smile when they discussed Jesus together.
Services provided by Companion Funeral Home, Ridge Chapel, Wednesday, July 23, 2025. The family will welcome guest 12:00-2:00 with the funeral immediately following officiated by Pastor Steve Halely.
He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Gardens next to his beloved Norma, to await the second coming of his Lord and Savior.
