Marie was born July 29, 1953, in Milwaukee to the late Francis and Therese (Gordon) Berger. She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee with the class of 1972. Marie married Frank Falkowski on October 7, 1972 in Mercer, Wisconsin. She worked in a variety of customer service positions throughout her career and had a passion for helping people in any way she could. Marie and Frank lived in multiple cities over the years and were welcomed into many different church communities where Marie volunteered. She loved gardening, sewing, fishing, and had a full-time job keeping Frank in line. Above all, Marie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Survivors include Marie's husband of 55 years: Frank Falkowski; son: Chris Falkowski; daughter: Rebecca (Craig) Owens; three grandchildren: Michael Owens, Emma (Dillon) Case, Paige Owens; brother: Danny (Karen) Berger; brother-in-law: Bob (Martha) Falkowski; and sister-in-law: Sandy (Ed) Blaise. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Francis and Therese Berger; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Ron Falkowski, Charlie Falkowski, and Sally Falkowski.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 North Water Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Bo Perkins. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Mercer Cemetery in Mercer, Wisconsin at a later date.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
