Leonide Joseph LeMaster of Two Rivers Wisconsin passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at age 70 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay WI.
Leonide (known to her friends as Lee) was born in Jeremie, Haiti, January 27, 1955. She was the daughter of the Julien L. Joseph M.D. and Irma (Pierre-Louis) Joseph. Lee and her sister immigrated to the United States in 1959. Leonide became a naturalized US citizen with her parents and sister while living in Norwich, CT.
Lee was raised in Norwich, Connecticut. She attended Sacred Heart primary school in Taftville and went to Notre Dame High School in Norwich. She graduated high school in 1972. She then attended Fairfield University in Fairfield Connecticut as part of the second Co-ed class admitted to the school. She left Fairfield University and later attended Mohegan Community College in Norwich where she graduated with an Associate's degree. Afterwards she attended the University of Connecticut (UConn).
Lee left UConn to enter the U.S. Air Force. She served as a Radar Technician and was stationed in Arizona and Indiana. She received an honorable discharge in 1980.
While in the service she married fellow Air Force member, James E Adams and they had three children. They lived in Arizona, Wyoming, Japan and later Guam where her ex-husband was stationed.
In the early 1990's, Lee moved to Miami Florida where she met her devoted husband, Tim LeMaster. They were married on June 17, 1994 in Miami.
Lee worked for Norwegian Cruise Line in Florida as a reservation agent.
Lee enjoyed role playing games, reading, socializing, dancing and going to conventions. She loved music. She was a Trekee/er and attended many Science Fiction and Gaming Conventions and events.
Lee was predeceased by her son James Eric Adams IV, father Dr. Julien L. Joseph. and mother Irma Joseph.
Lee is survived by her husband Timothy LeMaster; her children David Adams, Marie Hayward, their spouses and her two granddaughters Rachel & Rita. Survivors also include her sister Regine Joseph Carre, brother David Joseph, aunt Fredericque Joseph, her nephew, niece, and great-nieces.
Leonide LeMaster was cremated and a burial with graveside service will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com
