Donald L. Foulds, 87, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Apple Rehabilitation of Watertown. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Giordano) Foulds for 37 years.
Donald was born in Hartford, CT on April 12, 1935, a son of the late Ned Francis and Margaret (Hadley) Foulds. Before his retirement at the age of 70, he worked in computer operations for many area hospitals, including, Waterbury and Griffin Hospitals. He was also a chair car operator for AMR for several years. He was a long time member of the Torrington Lodge of Elks # 372.
Besides his wife of Waterbury, Donald leaves his children, Kevin Foulds of New York, NY, David Foulds and his wife, Susan of Torrington, Jeffrey Foulds and his wife, Elizabeth of Torrington, granddaughter, Abigail Foulds, sister-in-law, Barbara McHale of Oakville, brothers-in-law, Jack Giordano of Ellington and Don Noel of Bloomfield and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Brad Noel, sister-in-law, Mary Giordano and good friend, Philip Valaitis.
Arrangements: A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
