Donald E Goodwin

Donald E. Goodwin of Brockton passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 70. Donald was raised and educated in Somerville and attended Somerville High School. After graduating Donald married and started a family of his own. To support his family he would work various different trades and pick up odd jobs on the side. He later became a truck driver and drove for 30 years until his retirement.

Donald was a jokester and would always be pulling little pranks. He loved working with his hands, gardening and working on different crafts. Most of all he loved his family. He cherished all the time he got to spend with his wife of 53 years and would never pass up an opportunity to see his children and especially his grand children.

Donald was the beloved husband of Marjorie Goodwin of Brockton. He was the father of Tina Foley and her husband Jimmy of Dartmouth. Donald was the devoted grandfather of Christopher, Amber, Mikey, Tara and Timothy. Donald was predeceased by his brothers Bobby, Barry and Eddie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Donald on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 4-6PM in the MacKinnon Funeral Home (760 Washington St Whitman). A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home at 6PM.
