Donald was an unconditionally loving and devoted husband and father. He was kind, patient and had an incredible zest for life.
As a husband, Don was as doting and supportive a partner as they come. He and his beloved wife, Domely, shared a bond that was built on trust, love, and shared interests. Together, they navigated life's joys and challenges hand in hand, never wavering in their loyalty to one another.
As a father, he was a constant source of guidance and encouragement to his children, Aimee and Nikki. He taught them to approach life with a gratitude and a good sense of humor. He instilled in them the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance, setting an example that will continue to inspire generations to come.
Beyond his roles as a husband and father, Don had a passion for collecting art & antiques, playing poker, spending time outdoors and watching his beloved Green Bay Packers. He always looked forward to watching a game and shooting the breeze with his sons-in-law or playing scrabble into the wee hours of the night with his brothers. He enjoyed long drives to new places and had great appreciation for a well-made sandwich.
A pillar of dependability and wisdom, Don left a lasting impression on everyone he met, but especially his family. His warm smile, sense of humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. While he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit and the lessons he imparted to so many will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his love will forever guide and protect those he held dear.
