Donald Inskeep Obituary
Mr. Inskeep was born July 21, 1943, in Muncie, IN.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Inskeep; daughter, Terri Sammons; brother, Larry Inskeep. Donald was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and held the love of his country close to his heart. He retired as a turn-table operator from C&O railroad and was fascinated by trains. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, but most of all he always loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Donnie (Christy) Inskeep, Jr., and Tony (Daniela) Inskeep; grandchildren, Shawn (Erica) Deskins, Nicholas (Emeleigh) Inskeep, Shyanne Sammons, and Olivia (Griffin) Fields; great-grandchildren, Maggie Deskins, Shawn Deskins, and Henly Fields; brother, Butch (Diane) Inskeep; sister, Sara Irwin; and sister-in-law, Joan Inskeep.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Marine Corps League of Greenup.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M., Monday, April 7, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Russell. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Northeast.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Monday, at the Church.
