Donald L. "Jojo" Jonson, age 70, a resident of Mobile Al, was born on January 5, 1956 and passed away on 03/24/2026. He was a graduate of Theodore High School, class of 74. He played the trumpet in the marching band. He retired from International Paper, Co. Jojo was also a Airbrush Artist.
He loved his family and friends; he had such a witty sense of humor and wisdom that made up his personality. He was a man that had a passion for antique cars and antique collectables.
Jojo was a lover of 50s and 60s, Music and era. He played and DJ 'ed for various events to raise money for Child Advocacy, Ronald McDonald House and other similar associations, and to help people raise money for health and surgeries as needed. His biggest passion was the Pharoah's Car Club. He was the President of the Eastern Chapter.
Jojo was preceded in death by; his loving wife, Mary "Ann" Johnson; his father, Grover Johnson; and his mother, Iva "Farris" Johnson.
He is survived by; his daughters, Jennfier (Charlie) Osborne of North Odgen, UT, Susan (Steve) Maples of Mobile, AL, and Wanda Satterfiled of Mobile, AL; his sons, Walyne (Rhonda) Webster of Mobile, AL, and Tommy Webster of Mobile, AL; his 12 grandchildren; his great-grands; his best friend, Ron Lutz; and a host of other family members and friends.
Jojo's funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on April 1st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. His burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. on April 1st, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
He will be missed tremendously !!
