It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Ree Jones, of Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 3, 2025. Donald was born on September 11, 1945 to Clifford and Rosetta Jones, who both preceded him in death. He attended Campbell High School, later transferring to Rockwood High School where he graduated in the class of 1964. He is also preceded in death by: Brothers: Clifford Jones Jr, Kenneth Jones, and Curtis Eskridge; Niece: Chenelle Jarmon; Nephew: James Jones. He is survived by:
Son: David Jones and his wife, Tina, of Knoxville, Tennessee
Grandson: AJ Kirby-Jones and his wife, Alix, of Nashville, Tennessee; Zack Wiley of Knoxville, Tennessee
1 Great Granddaughter: Claire Jones
4 Siblings: McKinley Jones and wife Rika of Oahu, Hawaii, Harold Jones and his wife Brenda of Rockwood, Tennessee, Herbert Jones and his wife, Nelia, of Riverview, Florida, and sister: Laura Jones Cooke of Rockwood, Tennessee.
Nieces: Erica Hurst of Rockwood, Tennessee; Jennifer Adkins of Riverview, Florida; Tamara Mitchell of Knoxville, Tennessee; Tianna Weigand of Spangdahelm, Germany
Nephews: Anthony Jones of Huntington Beach, California; Julian Jones of Katy, Texas; Greg Jones of Rockwood, Tennessee; Michael Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Brian Jones of Riverview, Florida.
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members to numerous to mention.
A private family service will be held and interment and graveside service to follow. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Donald Ree Jones.
