Donald Krummert, age 86, of Ross Twp., Pa., passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022.
Born January 31, 1936 and raised in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Ina (Grabb) Krummert and Herman Krummert.
Don worked for Hays Typewriter in Heidelberg, Pa. for 30 years.
Don's love of flea markets and yard sales always kept him busy. He loved betting on the horses at the Meadows and when he was feeling lucky would occasionally head to Vegas. He always had a cigar in hand and was known to have more cars than bad jokes.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy; his children, Teresa (Norman), Lawrence (Karen), Raymond (Eileen), and James (Alicia); 10 grandchildren, Norm Jr., Fawn, Christian, Garrett, Gabrielle, Jacob, Benjamin, Nathan, Olivia and Elena, and one great-grandson, Greyer. He is also survived by his brother, Edward.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herman; and his sisters, Dolores and Jean.
Friends will be received from 3pm to 8pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Svcs., Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave./PO Box 2155, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, February 18, 2022 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066. (Friends please meet at church)
Don will be laid to rest privately at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in Zelienople.
