Donald Wayne Laughland, 73, of Rostraver Township, died Monday, November 25, 2024. Born in North Charleroi on July 4, 1951, he was the son of the late James W. Laughland Jr. and Ruth M. (Whitlatch) Laughland.  

Donald was retired from the Army Corp of Engineers as a Lock and Dam Operator. He was a member of the Webster Beagle Club, the VFW in West Newton and the American Legion in Roscoe. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed running his dogs. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. 

He is survived by his son, James R. (Jamie) Laughland; daughter, Rebecca Laughland; grandchildren, Alister Evans, Aiden Evans and Ava Laughland; sisters, Amy (William) Strenske and Heather Laughland Jampedro.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. (Sowers) Laughland; and his brother, James Robert Laughland. 

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sandra E. Fitzgibbons officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
