Donald Ludlow Obituary
Donald was born March 5, 1944, in Battle Creek, to Norma Geraldine (nee Beardslee) and Cecil Earl Ludlow, both now deceased. Donald served with the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. He was also a Detroit police officer, where he was on the motorcycle drill team as an instructor and a part of the Detroit Honor Guard, among others.
Donald was a past Commodore for American Legion Post 101, and was very active in his church. He also was an active member of The Helm at the Boll Life Center and enjoyed playing poker with his friends. He was a former resident of Augusta, Mich.
Donald is survived by his wife, Sarah; sons, Donald Jr., David (Vijal) and Matthew (Brenda); grandchildren, Ian, Samina, Jacob Sawyer, Jacob Warner, Lily and Christopher; and brother, Larry. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Judy; and brothers, Robert and Gary.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
