The world became brighter on the day of September 15, 1988, the day that Donnie McClements was born. Donnie sadly passed on January 19, 2024. He was an extraordinary man with a good heart and loved by many. He will be forever missed, the way he always knew how to put a smile on people's faces and not only protect but care for his family and loved ones. That is something we will forever hold onto. We will never let go of the memories that have been created with Donnie. All loved ones have faith Donnie is at peace.
Donnie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gilbert McClements and grandmother, Charlotte McGinnis.
Donnie leaves behind his mother Darlene Reed, his father Donald Clay Reed, son Donald Gilbert Samuel McClements, daughters Destiny Ann Patterson and Emily Dawn McClements, grandmother Mildred McClements, grandfather Kenneth Reed, aunts and uncles Terry McClements, Gilbert McClements (Patty), Lorraine Sterling (Richard), George McClements, Pamela Graham, Charles Wade Reed, Raymond Reed (Wendy) and Buddy McGinnis (Christy). Donnie also leaves behind many cousins and friends who loved him very much and will miss him dearly, including best friend Eric Elder who was like a brother to Donnie.
A celebration of live will be held at the Blackbird Community Center on Friday February 16th at 5pm.

Son it's Mom I wish you was still here I miss and love you so very much Donnie I feel empty inside my heart has crumbled but it's you that's making me stay strong not to give up and I greatly love you more for that. Donnie I know your at peace maybe I'm selfish because I love you with everything I am it's just not fair it wasn't your time to go. But nothing can bring you back I cherish all of our memories and I carry you in my heart to keep you alive with me cause you are my heart not just my son. I love you so very much Donnie please give me a sign to let me know your still with me.

Words can't express the pain I feel for your mom and dad. The memories will forever live on though. You became a part of our family really quick. We looked at you as our brother, not a friend. I'm so upset that this happened to you. I have to say that I am jealous of you a little bit. Your able to see your loved ones that you've missed and I'm just playing the waiting game on when I'll see my dad again. When you see him, tell him I said I love him. This just seems so unreal. I've always said GOD has a plan. Some may think they can alter the plans but, truth be told they can't. I hope you rest easy and know that we love you. Til' we meet again. We love you Donnie!
