Donald W. Moser
March 11, 1940 – October 17, 2025
Donald Wesley "Duck" Moser, age 85, of Deshler, Ohio, passed peacefully at home on October 17, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on March 11, 1940 in Deshler, Ohio to the late Naomi Talmadge.
Donald was a 1960 graduate of Deshler High School. He also studied theology at Bob Jones University in South Carolina
He found joy in working with his hands throughout his life, with woodworking being his greatest passion. His career in construction was marked by purpose and dedication, building churches along the east coast before founding his own company, Moser Building & Remodeling. He cherished the years spent working side by side with his sons, passing down not only his skills but also his love for craftsmanship. His daughters, too, were taught to be capable and confident – he believed in empowering all his children with the tools to succeed.
In the quieter moments, he found comfort in the simple pleasures: a bowl of chips or popcorn, a favorite orange popsicle, and the familiar sound of a Miami Dolphins or Clemson Tigers game playing in the background. More often than not, these moments ended peacefully in his recliner; a gentle reminder of a life well-lived and deeply loved.
Donald is survived by his 5 children, Annette Moser-Negron (Rick Kerr), Mark (Kristi) Moser, Paul (Julie) Moser, Timothy (Nikki) Moser, Peggy Moser (James Neiling); 9 grandchildren, Amber (Rich) Holmes, David (Jessica) Escalante, Bronson Moser (Mari Wickard), Hailey(Corey) Nye, Monique (Justin) Carpenter, Megan Moser (Jordan Torres), KC Moser, Sarah (Matthew) Parker, Danielle Jones; and16 great grandchildren.
Per Donald's request there will be no public services. The family will be having a private service as he wanted.
If wanting to remember Don, the family asks that you consider a memorial to Bridge Hospice or you can leave a message or memory at www.feehanrodenbergerfuneralhome.
