Reba M. Kaetzel
May 12, 1940 - October 4, 2025

Reba Mae Kaetzel, 85, of Deshler, Ohio passed away in the comfort of her own home on Saturday morning, October 4, 2025.

She was born May 12, 1940 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late John and Georgia (Branche) Stevenson. On February 6, 1966 she married James L. Kaetzel in Weston, Ohio and they shared over 57 years together. Jim preceded her in death on June 26, 2023.

Reba worked over 23 years at the former Oak Grove Nursing Home of Deshler as a State Tested Nurse Aide. She was an avid fan of NASCAR and watching races and cheered for the Michigan Wolverines football team.

Reba is survived by her two sons, James R. (Dorrie) Kaetzel of Grants Pass, Oregon; Edward Kaetzel of Deshler; four grandchildren, Justin Kaetzel; Abigayle (Jim) Ferguson; Andrew Kaetzel; Adam Kaetzel; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Patrick Lamb; Robert Stevenson and sisters, Sharon Roslund and Linda Dornbush.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Humphrey.

Per Reba's request, there will be no public services. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
