Dateline: McKenzie, TN Graveside services for Donald Lynn Nolen are Monday, July 8, 2024, at Mt Olivet Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Nolen, known affectionately as Butch by his family was born in Newbern, TN on May 8, 1951, to Thomas A Nolen Sr and Dimple Mai Mallard Nolen. He is a graduate of McKenzie High School and a veteran of the US Army serving in South Korea in 1970-1972. He is a retired employee of the TN Department of Transportation. He is survived by his brother Ronnie Nolen of McKenzie, a sister Mary (Terry) Newson of Springville, TN and many nieces, nephew and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Kee and brother-in-law Billy Joe Kee, sister Hilma Dinkins and brother Thomas Nolen, JR. Because of and in memory of Donalds generosity to so many people throughout his life, in lieu of flowers please make donations to McKenzie Church of Christ or McKenzie High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund at MHSAA 114 W. Bell Avenue, McKenzie, TN 38201.
