Donald Lee Obst, 68, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at his residence in Staunton.
He was born on July 16, 1957, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Walter Robert, Jr. and Daisy Dell Ingram Obst.
Donald worked in the transportation industry for a number of years, where he was a driver for
D.M. Conner Trucking in Stuarts Draft.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Gough Obst; his daughters, Jessica Jackson and Brenda Reed; his son, Matthew Scott Lamb and his wife, Ashlee; his grandchildren, Daisy and Owen Lamb, and Aurora Jackson Fitzgerald and Heather Jackson; his great-granddaughter, Paisley Rose Jackson; his brother, Robert Allen Obst, his sister, Roberta Jane Obst Bower; numerous sisters-in-law; and numerous nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Lamb.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton.
