Donald Keith Patterson, 60, of Goodlettsville, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 after a long illness.
Don was a loving, helpful man who was always ready and willing to help his friends and family in any situation. He had a deep connection to nature, leading him to his calling as an arborist. If he saw a tree down in the neighborhood, he would be the first person to get out and start to take care of the removal. He also loved fishing, sometimes driving through Nashville traffic just to get a couple of hours of fishing in after work. Most of all, he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Charles Patterson.
Don is survived by his wife, Shannon Patterson; Children, Josh Hawkins, Jason Hawkins, Kristin Hawkins, Kristen Hargis, and Rachel Taylor; Siblings, Julie Patterson, Judy Patterson, Jennifer Meador, Jan Parnell, and Doug Patterson; And many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 1 pm until his celebration of life at 2pm at Luna Lane Church of Christ, 177 Luna Lane, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
