Donald Ray Pettis, 62, of Granite City, IL passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.
He was born on June 15, 1962 in Sikeston, MO to Willie Shannon and Cora Pettis.
The U.S. Army veteran enjoyed fishing, being around friends and watching western movies and television shows.
Donald is survived by 2 daughters: Cherish Pettis of Sikeston, MO and Jada Williams of Sikeston, MO; 3 brothers: Jerry Pettis of Kansas City, MO, Jimmie Joe Pettis of Sikeston, MO and Lorenzo Pettis of Kansas City, MO and 2 sisters: Bernice Clark of Kansas City, MO and Lavonda Pettis of Kansas City, MO.
Besides his parents, Donald is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Pettis.
A memorial visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL. Family and friends may share memories of Donald at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
