Funeral services for Reverend Donald Eugene Privett will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Tioga United Pentecostal Church, with Reverends Dyral Hargrove, Mike McConnoughey, Nevin Bass, Waylon Trahan, and Rusty Riddick officiating. Interment will follow in Gloryway Church Cemetery, Dodson, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
Mr. Privett, 79, of Ball, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was Senior Pastor of Tioga United Pentecostal Church and has been a member of United Pentecostal International for over fifty years. He was also instrumental in building churches across the world. He was an avid golfer, loved target shooting, and playing the guitar. He loved traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dolly Privett; and one brother, Hugh Privett.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Donna Privett of Ball; one son, Timothy Privett, and wife Marisha, of Pineville; one daughter, Monica Nobles, and husband John, of Pineville; and five grandchildren, John Landon Nobles, Jackson Caskey Nobles, Parker Jarred Privett, Emma Katherine Nobles, and Finn Milas Privett.
A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at Tioga United Pentecostal Church, on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Todd Box, Josh Box, Ronnie Privett, Landon Nobles, Jackson Nobles, and Parker Privett.
