Surviving are his children, Donald (Mildred) Proctor Jr. of Ionia, Chasity (Chad) Lindsley of Harrison, Cristy (Daniel) White of Ionia and Christopher Proctor of Portland. Grandchildren, L.D. Proctor III, Haley Proctor, Autumn Thayer, Casey Griffith, Crystal Lindsley, Chad Lindsley Jr., Justin Jarrett, Gavin Binney, Zach Franson and Noah White. Great grandchildren, Ava, Sonny, Rason, Kenny, River, Memphis, Koson, Maely, Laiklyn, Sierra, Kash, McKenna, Matayo and Oliver. Brothers, John (Dorene) Proctor of Florida and Jack () Proctor of Lyons. Special friend, Jim Stump of Portland. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Susan Randolph and Cindy Harwick, brother, Joe Proctor.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com

RIP "Inky"! My stepdad spent his mornings at Tom's IGA in Portland, riding their little Scooter's over to the store for coffee & a donut & sometimes dinner at one of the resteraunts near by. My Aunt Elaine (Hartwick) Gilmore & Uncle Larry Gilmore & many of their friends also knew Inky well. My condolences to all his family & prayers of comfort & peace!
