Donald Reid Obituary

WESTON -- Donald James "Donnie" Reid, of Weston, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his residence. He was born on February 17, 1953, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to the late James and Goldie (Hook) Reid.

Donnie was a graduate of Eastwood High School and worked at Midwest Stamping and then for Principle Business Enterprises, until his retirement in 2019.

Donnie is survived by his sister, Linda Knudson, of Millbury, Ohio; his nephews: James, William, and Jake Lofton, and David (Katie Knudson). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his beloved companion, "Dixie".

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Ann Lofton.

Donnie was an avid collector of Eagles. He had a large display of them throughout his house.

In accordance to Donnie's requests, there will be no visitation. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

We ask you to join us for a procession from Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 West Wooster Street, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43402, at 10:30 AM, to process to Union Hill Cemetery. Dan Horner, a cousin of Donnie, will serve as the celebrant.

Donations in Donnie's memory may be shared with the Wood County Humane Society, 801 Van Camp Rd, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43402.
