Donald Ray Risinger, known affectionately to all as Don or 'Dancin' Don'. Born on November 2, 1953, in the bustling oil town of Odessa, Texas, Don twirled his way through life until November 28, 2025, when he took his final bow in Austin, Texas.

Don started his own business, Dependable Window Cleaning, in 1979, and just like his sparkling personality, he made sure every window shined bright, bringing clarity and light to all who had the pleasure of peeking through.

Don was a believer in Christ and believed following His word was the key to spreading joy and happiness to the world. His life was a testament to that by singing and dancing. He would say "don't just feel the love, be the love".

Not just light on his feet, Don was also a maestro of the home, raising his daughter, Kristy. As a single dad, he was both mother and father, superhero and confidant, the 'MacGyver' of parenting, and according to Kristy, the most amazing dad ever. Kristy and her husband, Jason, have a blended family that gave Don the joy of four grandkids, Lucas, Jacob, Hayden and Caelyn. Norma, his loving mother, watched with pride as Don took on the world with the same tenacity he had as a boy. Don was the youngest with two older sisters, Loretta and Jenny. Don was only 19 when he lost his father, Kenneth. He cherished his father's collection of over 12,000 records. He lived and traveled with his longtime partner Karen, and will be missed dearly by his loyal dog, Shadow.

Don was a man who lived life in his own unmistakable style-quiet, thoughtful, and genuine. He loved music deeply, whether playing guitar, listening to his favorite songs, or dancing, and he found joy in the simple beauty of nature. Though a man of few words, his presence spoke volumes.

Don was unique and irreplaceable. He was generous and kind, a man who could fix a leaky faucet with the same ease as when working on his old Nova. His creativity wasn't just reserved for his hobbies; it was woven into the fabric of his everyday life, making even the mundane seem magical.

As we say goodbye to Don, we can almost hear the soft shuffle of his dancing shoes and the gentle hum of a tune only he could create. His legacy is not just in the clean windows or the rhythm he left behind, but in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing a man who lived life as a dance, with every step full of love and laughter.

Don will be remembered always for his gentle spirit, his love of family, his deep

appreciation of music and nature, and the unmistakable way he moved through the

world-uniquely, authentically, and with heart.

Keep dancing, Dancin' Don. Keep dancing.
