Donald Lee Sedam went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born January 8, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana. His parents were Jacob and Marsha Sedam; his sister, Jean Calvert; his brothers, Harold Sedam and Cliff Sedam.
He grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1957. He loved playing the Tuba in the marching band, working on cars, playing football, going to Florida with family and friends. He married Louise Sedam and they had 3 children, Jeff, Mary Jo and Kim. Don was a hard worker and provider for his family. He was a business owner with Amoco Service Station for 34 years in Indianapolis, Greenwood, Boynton Beach, Florida and Lighthouse Pt, Florida. He enjoyed having 24 students with Central Nine working at his station. Whether at church or work he enjoyed serving and helping others and making a difference in their lives.
Don is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo Sedam and Kim Sedam; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Marsha Sedam; son, Jeff Sedam; sister, Jean Calvert; brothers, Harold Sedam and Clifford Sedam.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Otterbein Senior Life in Franklin for their loving and compassionate care for nearly three years.

Visitation is Saturday, June 28, 2025, 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Indiana Funeral Care, Greenwood Chapel.
Memorial service will begin at noon. Chaplain Deb Baker to officiate.
