It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald James Shemoncofsky. He was a dear husband, father, grandfather, a faithful brother , and friend. He had just turned 92, and though he lived an incredible life he would tell you that his life actually started with a little knock on the door in the fall of 1969.He recognized the ring of truth, and in a short time dedicated himself to Jehovah God and spent the next half century sharing precious bible truths with any and all who would listen. Even in his final days he was absolutely sure that Gods promised new world would come and that one day the enemy death would be no more! (1 Cor 15:26 Rev 21:3-4) Another milestone in his life was his marriage to his dear beloved best friend Lorraine. They enjoyed a wonderful 48 years together, and as his loving wife they shared in many adventures. They especially enjoyed their many Mexican experiences!Lorraine looks forward to the promise found at John 5:28 having its fulfillment, which states: all those in the memorial tombs will hear Christs voice…and come out! Yes, a resurrection right here on earth, what a grand time that will be. She longs to be reunited with her best friend Don. A memorial will be held on Dec 28th at 3pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs witnesses ,3065 W Mason St Green Bay WI
