Donald grew up in Chicago and met his beloved wife on a blind date and they married just a few short years later. They lived in West Rogers Park where they started to raise their children. Donald was a very dedicated insurance agent and a proud father who enjoyed raising his daughters. Once the Silverman daughters went off to college Donald and Lois began their love of travel, visiting Israel, London, France, Amsterdam, China, and Egypt just to name a few stops around the world. Donald enjoyed attending plays, loved technology and his phone, kept in touch with countless childhood friends, but his greatest joy was spending time with his dear Lois on their daily visits to McDonalds. Donald will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
