Donald Stacknick Jr. "Doc" 38, of Dalton died Thursday December 12, 2024 at his home. Born in Scranton on September 6,1986; son of Donald Stacknick Sr. of Factoryville and Nancy (Bob) Carpenter of Dalton.
Doc was a 2005 graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School and received his master's from Keystone College. He was currently the Program Director for Sport and Recreation Management at Keystone College and has worked at Johnson College and Misericordia University in the past. He is an Assistant Chief and Board Member at the Dalton Fire Company, spending most of his life at the fire company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Doc loved Notre Dame and the Detroit Lions. Enjoyed camping trips with Missy and his dogs and enjoyed working on the farm with his John Deere 620 bailing hay.
Donald was preceded in death by his sister Tammy and his dog Chloe.
Surviving beside his parents is his companion for over 6 years Missy Bortree. Three brothers Jeffrey, Timothy and Robert Carpenter. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His dogs are Brody and Lola.
Fireman's Service on Tuesday December 17, 2024 at 7pm at the Dalton Fire Company Hall 109 South Turnpike Road Dalton PA 18414. Friends may call at the fire hall from 4pm to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to an animal rescue of your choice or the Dalton Fire Company
