Donald Joseph Walter

Donald Joseph Walter, age 60, of Mesa, AZ passed away Saturday, September 7th at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa after being a patient for a week. Don was born in Springfield, Illinois on May 25, 1964 to George William Walter and Barbara "Bonnie" Seely Walter. He spent his younger years in Canandaigua, New York, later moving to Oneida, New York, where he enjoyed his teenage and young adult years. He always dreamed of living out west so he moved to Arizona in 1987 and fell in love with the area. He was an over the road truck driver for many years before going to school to learn air conditioning installation and repair. He had his own air conditioning business serving the Phoenix, Mesa and Apache Junction area.
Don loved to read books, watch movies and listen to music but he was happiest spending time with his son, constantly traveling and exploring new places together. He is survived by his son, Thomas Anthony Walter of Apache Junction, AZ, his mother, Barbara "Bonnie" Walter of Oneida, NY, his father, George (Janet) Walter of Seneca Falls, NY, sister and brother in law, Julie (Walter) & John Chesebro of Oneida, NY, special friend, Analie Spence of Apache Junction, AZ, and nieces and nephews, Zadie McHugh, John Chesebro II, Renee Chesebro, Logan (Brianna) Chesebro and Kylie Chesebro all from New York.
