Age 76, of Trafford, formerly of Shelota, on Friday, August 15, 2025.
Beloved father to Eric B. (Jennifer) Wells; Pap-Pap to Tyler and Lily Wells.
He was preceded in his passing by his wife Lori Wells and his daughter Kristen Wells.
Don was a prominent member of The Gathering Place church and was a man of his faith. A Vietnam veteran for the U.S. Army, he was a helicopter gunner while serving his time at L.Z. Stinson. Don was a man that had the heart to help people. He loved to assist any way he could. A jack of all trades, he's done everything from tree trimming, installing sunrooms, flying planes, Don did it all. One of his best accomplishments was hitchhiking cross America. His greatest accomplishment, however, was being a Pap-Pap. He loved to take Tyler and Lily fishing and setting off fireworks in the back yard. He was beloved by his family and will be dearly missed.
Friends received, Thursday, 12:00 pm-2:00 pm & 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Service will be held, Thursday, 6:00 pm.
