Donald Ray Williams, 75, passed away on January 31, 2025, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Born on April 26, 1949, to the late William and Arlene Williams.
Don was a graduate of James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville. His career was with General Electric as a Machine Adjuster. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Don served in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Beyond his service and career, he found joy in hunting and fishing. He also spent several years coaching Hot Stove Baseball. His favorite pastime was gambling with his niece Sue Simmons. Daytona Beach Dog track was his favorite place to be.
Don is survived by his beloved wife, Judy of 47 years, daughter Katie Warner (Joshua); son Adam Williams; grandsons Beckett Warner and Hardy Williams; brothers James Williams and Robert Williams; and sister Kathy Towles. He was preceded in death by his brother Willie Williams, sister Sharon Judge.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1185 West Granada Blvd Ste. 11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. We will welcome friends and family starting at 10:30am.
Donald's memory will live on through those who knew him and the many lives he touched throughout his journey.
