DONALD YAHNER RN, age 56. Beloved husband of Deanne (nee Phillips) for 19 years; devoted father of his Pride and Joy Caden; loving son of Raymond and Sandra Yahner (nee Carter), and son-in-law of James and Cheryl Phillips (nee Perry); caring brother of Stephanie Snyder (Brett), Michelle Garver (Mike), and Rebecca Lopez (Greg), and brother-in-law of Kristen Phillips (Harold), and Jami Gingraux (Jay). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Don grew up in Eastlake, and in 1986 graduated from North High School. He attained his Bachelor's degree at the Ohio State University and has been a devoted Buckeyes fan. His work as a Registered Nurse brought him to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Huron, Hillcrest, and Metro General Hospitals. Most recently Don was a General Surgical Nurse at Southwest General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org
Funeral services 7:00 pm Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment Private
The family will receive friends THURSDAY 4-7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS (WEST OF I-71)
