Donice Johnson Obituary
Donice Johnson, age 77, of Cliffside, passed away December 29, 2024 at Cleveland Pines in Shelby.
Donice was born Saturday, October 11, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Eunice Roberson. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School. Donice was a dedicated homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Douglas Johnson, Jr. and a sister, Brenda Conner.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fifty-seven years, Doug Johnson; son Greg Johnson (Susan) of Boiling Springs, NC; grandchildren, Summer Bright, Lucas Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Ryan Moore (June) and Kelsey Moore; great grandchildren, Laylyn Roberts, Ellie Moore, Finn Moore and Eren Moore.
The funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 3rd at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ronald Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are request to the Masonic Children’s Home, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
