Donna M. Arendt, 74, of New Providence, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Grace G. (Lindeman) Hollow.
Donna was a graduate of Penn Manor High School, class of 1968. Following high school, she found her first job at Dart Container. She went on to be employed by Exide Battery in Lampeter, most recently as a machine operator, retiring with 30 years of service. Donna led a quiet life. She enjoyed having a cat as a companion. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading books and solving crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her brothers, Daniel (Jane) Hollow, of Atglen, and Gary (Lisa) Hollow, of Drumore; sisters, Diane Frost, of Willow Street, Dori Parr, of Warminster, and Sheri (Wayne Kahl) Simmons, of Holtwood; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Walters, a brother-in-law, Joseph Parr, and a nephew, Michael Hollow.
A service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private.
