Donna Mae Avansino

Donna Mae Avansino, of Seligman, MO, passed away on December 07, 2024, at the age of 73. She was born in Compton, California on June 04, 1951, to Leo and Patricia (Fuereborne) Tiede.
She graduated high school in El Paso, Texas and went on the study nursing at Duke University. Donna worked as a registered nurse for many years in various hospitals with her final years of employment at a hospital in Denver, Colorado. She met Ronnie Bohannon, and they shared five children together, Val, Troy, Rhonda, Amy and Stacie. Donna enjoyed helping Ronnie out on the farm, from running cattle to tending to their medical needs. She also enjoyed pitching horseshoes and dancing.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Karen Horn and Anna Reisinger.
She is survived by her significant other of 12 years, Ronnie Bohannon and his three daughters: Rhonda Simmons and husband Jacob, Amy Conner and husband Derick and Stacie Watkins, her sons Val Smith and wife Vivian and Troy Akers: two brothers; Michael Tiede and Patrick Tiede, as well as numerous grandchildren and other extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to a charity of your choosing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 1p.m. at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic, MO. Donna will be laid to rest in Kerr cemetery following her funeral.
