Teresa Merritt

Teresa Sue "Susie" Merritt passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Susie was 71 years old. She was born in Springfield, MO, on July 27, 1954, to Jimmy and Wanda (Kyle) Merritt and was one of three children in the home. Susie attended Republic schools. She was blessed with two children, Stephene and Joseph. Susie worked as a seamstress at the local garment factory. She attended Northwest Baptist Church in Springfield and loved the Lord. She enjoyed watching television, spending time with her family and her fur babies, Bear, Buddy and Bo. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Merritt. Susie is survived by her children, Stephene Kleiber and Joseph (Erica) Kleiber, numerous grand and great grandchildren as well as a brother Brad Shoemaker as well as other extended family and countless friends.
