Donna M. Bartie

Donna M. Bartie, a 45 year resident of Newtown, PA, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 She was 75.
Donna was the beloved wife of 55 years to Thomas A. Bartie.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Virginia (Coleman) Freestone. She was predeceased by her brother Dennis Freestone.
In addition to her husband Thomas, Donna is survived by her two loving and devoted sons Thomas Bartie and his wife Michelle of Hatboro and Scott Bartie and his wife Stephanie of Center Valley, PA. She is also survived by her three loving grandchildren Thomas, Matthew, and Hayden and her sister Linda Endrick.
Donna's deepest passion was being a devoted wife, a proud mother and a beaming grandmother as she thrived cheering on and sharing the accomplishments of those she held dear. Donna loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Donna had many interests including attending plays, reading mystery novels, watching mystery TV shows, doing challenging puzzles and gardening. She enjoyed attending church on a weekly basis. She was a member of the Newtown Garden Club and a local wine club and enjoyed spending time with friends through these events. Donna was a true animal lover and a supporter of the SPCA with a special place in her heart for her beloved cats and dog. Donna was a compassionate and dependable friend and one of the most thoughtful and creative gift givers on the planet. Her laugh and beautiful smile would always light up a room.
Donna worked for over ten years at L3 Aeronautical as well as other local companies prior to her retirement.
Donna's family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 9:30 am until her Funeral Service, which will be officiated by the Rev. Dr. Norman J. Leve, Jr. at 11:00am in New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.
