Donna Bockelkamp

Donna Bockelkamp, 61, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at her home in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was surrounded by her family, love, and her faith.
Born September 04, 1960, in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of Richard and Sara Zettlemoyer. Donna was united in marriage to her beloved husband Mark on May 14th, 1999. Together they raised 4 strong, proud, and loving children.
Donna proudly served in the United States Army. In addition to her dedicated military service, Donna was a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. When she wasn't working, Donna was particularly talented with her garden. Each year, her care in the garden would produce a great harvest that the entire family would enjoy. Donna passionately loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She took every opportunity she could to spend time loving them, taking them on new adventures.
Most importantly, Donna was a follower of Christ. She put her trust in Christ's finished work on her behalf. Because of her love for Christ, she was an active member of Fairmont Community Church where she regularly attended services and served alongside her husband as the Youth Director for 7 years. She counted it a great privilege to disciple the next generation of Christ followers as to how to navigate this uncertain world with certainty in Christ.
Donna is survived by her parents Richard Zettlemoyer and Sara Zettlemoyer [Ciccocioppo] ; Husband, Mark Bockelkamp; sons, Brandon Zettlemoyer (Keeter), Brian Riddle (Erika), Cody Bockelkamp (Jessica); daughter, Michelle Harris [Riddle] (Michael); Brothers, Dennis Zettlemoyer and Richard Zettlemoyer Jr.; sisters, Brenda Brinson, Melanie Dixon, Deanna Mease, AnnaMarie Casner, Robin Chiccini, Deb Jackson, and Mary Stump. She is also survived by her loving granddaughters, Sierra and Alyssa Zettlemoyer; Bella, and London Harris; grandsons, Levin Harris, Cooper Riddle, Malachi Bockelkamp, and Micah Bockelkamp.
Donna is preceded in death by her brothers Albert Ciccocioppo and Ralph Zettlemoyer.
A Celebration of life will be held at Fairmont Community Church, 1211 Fairmont Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17112 on Friday, August 12, 2022. Visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and Memorial service to begin at 10:00 AM. With Pastor G. David Tressler officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Donna to the following organizations: Tunnel2Towers Foundation and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
