Donna Price Brasfield, age 78, passed away at her home on October 7, 2025, in Knoxville, TN.
She was born on February 24, 1947, in Knoxville, TN, to Clyde Price and Ida Mills Price.

She dedicated over 37 years to the Knox County School system, serving in various roles that shaped the lives of countless young people. Donna taught Adaptive PE (formerly known as Special Education), consistently finding creative ways to ensure that every student could fully participate in class activities, regardless of their abilities.
Donna Brasfield was the nicest and kindest woman, who spent her life making the lives of others better. She was a quiet leader as well as an emotional rock for her children and family. Donna loved her grandchildren more than anything, as they made her life complete. She would always remind everyone to be kind, be fair, and share.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Price and Ida Mills Price, as well as her nephew, Ian Payne, and niece, Micah Looper.
She is survived by her son, F. Shayne Brasfield, and his wife, Kim, as well as their children, Mason, Brooke, and Mallory. She is also survived by her daughter, Amy Brasfield, along with her children, Brody and Grady. She is further survived by her former husband, Freddie Brasfield; brother, Joe Price; her sisters: Becky (Gary) Randles, Jackie (Tony) Nelson, and Jamie Payne; her sister-in-law, Betty Brasfield; 10 nephews and nieces, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Beth Hattaway and Johnnie Simpson for their lifelong friendship and assistance.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Click Funeral Home - Middlebrook Chapel (9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923).
