Donna Lee Broomhall, 79, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on June 25, 1945 in San Diego, California to the late Willis Earl and Evelyn (Harp) Broomhall.
Donna was a graduate of Barnesville High School. Donna was funny, clever, a singer, a dancer, a drummer, a flirt, an example, an adored daughter, the "free-est" of spirits, unendingly resilient, never knew a stranger, was so proud of her family's achievements, a mother, and a grandmother and great grandmother, whose inappropriate or silly humor and unconventional life, was always amusing to her beloved grandchildren. "Mom, thank you for the life lessons you taught, the forgiveness you gave, and your constantly open arms when family came to you. Your memory will be cherished by those who loved you."
Donna is survived by her children, Paul "Andy" (Leslie) Ferguson, and Melissa "Missy" (Chris) McEndree, Melinda (Philip) Schmidt; grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Drew, Katrina, Kimberly, Elaina, Andy, and Paul; great-grandchildren, Ella, Liam, and Oliver; brother, Robert (Sarah) Broomhall; dearest cousin, Marilyn Ware; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and cousins.
Honoring Donna's wishes, no services will be held at this time. Donna's care has been entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
