Donna Buttaro Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Funeral Home on Jun. 26, 2024.
Donna Renee Buttaro passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2024, at the age of 80 years young. Born in Norristown, PA on February 9, 1944 to James P and Dorothy E Ledger. Donna was the beloved wife of Guy J Buttaro II, who preceded her in death. Donna will be deeply missed by her loving children; Guy J Buttaro III (Tricia); James P Buttaro ( Allison ), Lisa-Lynn Buttaro ( Minou ), Steven M Buttaro, her precious grandchildren; McKayla, Jack, Sofia, and her dearly loved sister-in-law MaryAnn Buttaro Foraker and brother-in law Joseph Foraker and children (Jay, Jeffrey, Jennifer).
Donna was a 1962 graduate of Norristown High School. She proudly went on to complete her LPN degree at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1963. In the fall of 1963, she married Guy, the love of her life. Her husband wished for her to use her nursing skills to provide exceptional care for their family.
Donna was the kindest and most loving individual who touched the lives all those who had the privilege of meeting her. She made everyone feel seen, valued, loved and cared for. Donna always appreciated anything you did for her. Spending time with others always brought a smile to her face and warmth to the heart of all.
Donna led a life dedicated to her family and to God. She gave her everything to raising her children and ensuring their success in life. She treasured her grandchildren and loved spoiling them with gifts. Donna absolutely adored animals and they instantly felt her gentle soul. She enjoyed many retirement years in Fenwick Island and Rehoboth Beach, DE. Donna recently moved back to PA to be closer to her family and quickly became a favorite resident at Meadowood, sharing her joy and smile with so many. In her short time at Meadowood she was so happy and exuberantly attended their live performances, plays, movies and other social activities.
Donna's memory will forever live in our hearts and souls. To know her was to feel LOVED. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
As we say goodbye let us celebrate the extraordinary life that Donna lived and the impact she has had on our lives. We honor her memory by cherishing the time we had with her. We know that she is smiling down from heaven after finally reuniting with her husband Guy and her dearly loved dog Bethany. Donna's standing at the gates now, waving down and blowing us a million kisses.
Relatives and friends are invited to Donna's Life Celebration on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 200 W. Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA, 19401. Then, on Saturday June 29, 2024 there will be a visitation held from 10:30 AM until her funeral mass at 11:00 AM at Visitation BVM Church, 190 N Trooper Road, Trooper, PA 19403; Interment will immediately follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Donna is my cousin! We have been friends since infancy-we grew up together! We were in each others wedding also. We just reconnected when she came to Pa. from Delaware!
