Donna D. Casterline, age 85, of Tunkhannock, PA passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her daughter's home.

Donna was born in Towanda, PA on January 1, 1940 the daughter of the late Freeman Wesley Grose (d. May 26, 1960) and Laura Anna Durling Grose (d. May 23, 1996). She was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School with the class of 1957.

After high school she was employed with NEBA then moved to Bradford, PA and was a Secretary for Forest Oil Corporation for many years.

She was 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Bradford, PA where she served as the Worthy Matron for several years. Donna was also a member of the Rought Hall Post #510 Ladies Auxiliary. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, especially knitting and cross stitch and playing BINGO at the Tunkhannock Manor.

Donna is survived by her daughter and her husband, Tammy and Joe Balewski of Tunkhannock, PA; her grandchildren, Tara Woytowitz and her husband, Chip, of Salisbury, MD and Jordan Balewski of Pittsburgh, PA; her great-granddaughter, Kinslee Woytowitz; as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Casterline (d. July 20, 2011) and her siblings, Ellis Grose (d. September 18, 1994) and Thelma Strehle (d. April 11, 2006) and her husband, Frank.

Abiding by Donna's wishes a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at the Lacey Street Cemetery next to her parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Rought Hall Post #510 Ladies Auxiliary, 328 Old Route 6, Laceyville, PA 18623 or to the Tunkhannock Manor's Activity Fund, 50 West Tioga Street, Tunkhannock, PA 18657
