Tyler William Davis, age 28, of Meshoppen, PA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Tyler was born on December 20, 1997 in Tunkhannock, PA. He is the son of Barb Adams Grow and Douglas Davis. He attended Elk Lake High School and the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center. He pursued a career in welding and was employed by Camron Welding in Hop Bottom, PA.
He had a passion for music and if he wasn’t playing his drums, guitar, or singing, he was listening to music or looking for new music. Tyler had a love of the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and spending time at the beach with his family learning how to surf.
He was a member with the Meshoppen Volunteer Fire Department. He had a big heart, loved deeply, and was willing to strike up conversations with everybody. He loved his motorcycles, cars, and anything else with an engine, the faster the better. Tyler was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and often watched hockey games.
Tyler has two beautiful daughters, Gracelyn Rose Davis and Arabella Raine Davis, who were the love of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Douglas C. Davis of Meshoppen, PA and Barb Grow and her husband, Scott of Meshoppen, PA; his siblings, Makayla Davis of Moosic, PA, Emma Davis of Meshoppen, PA, AF Major Treg Davis (Kymber) of Barrington, NH; Scottie Grow of Laceyville, PA, and Brianna Grow of Meshoppen, PA; his grandparents, William Adams of New Jersey and Nancy McGavin of Tunkhannock, PA; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frances Adams and Jerry McGavin.
A Memorial Service for Tyler will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM from the Sheldon Funeral Home, 8206 SR 6, Meshoppen, PA with Pastor Richard Womer of the Tunkhannock Assembly of God Church officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Tyler’s name to the Meshoppen Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 118, Meshoppen, PA 18630.
