Donna Danley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory - McAlester on Aug. 15, 2025.
Donna Alene (Richardson) Danley, 77, of Eufaula, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, in Eufaula.

The family will hold a graveside memorial service 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Wardville Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory.

Donna was born February 21, 1948, in McAlester to Clayton O. and Zeda Alene (Gibson) Richardson. She grew up in Kiowa and attended Kiowa Schools. On August 10, 1963, she married M.A. Danley in St. George, Utah. They shared more than 50 years together before his passing in 2014.

Over the years, Donna worked as a restaurant manager at Hungry Jack's in Kiowa, as a store clerk for Jones Grocery in Kiowa, and later as the owner and operator of Pittsburg Country Store in Pittsburg. Her work reflected her strong work ethic, her friendly spirit, and her love for serving her community.

In her free time, Donna enjoyed reading and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. She was a member of the Kiowa Church of Christ and valued her faith deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Zeda Richardson; husband, M.A. Danley; son-in-law, Phillip Wayne Nance; granddaughter, Natasha Sexton; and grandson, Austin Danley.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Nance; sons, Mark Danley and wife, Charlene, and Phillip Danley and former daughter-in-law, Bambie Danley; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.

Those who knew Donna will remember her for her unwavering kindness, her quiet strength, and the way she made everyone feel welcome - whether in her home, her store, or simply in her presence. Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
