It is with deep respect and sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna Marlene Emery, who left this world on October 13, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Sperry, Oklahoma. Born on December 25, 1942, she was the daughter of Emmet and Helen (Welch) Williams and spent her formative years in Sperry, where she graduated from Sperry High School.
Donna's professional journey led her to become a dedicated tax preparer and debt collector, utilizing her skills with commitment and diligence. Beyond her professional life, she was a cherished member of the Grace Baptist Church in Sperry, where she served her community with grace and kindness.
On August 12, 1961, Donna married her beloved husband, Jesse Lloyd Emery, with whom she shared a life filled with love and support. Together, they raised a family that brought her immense joy. She is survived by her son, Jesse Emery and his wife Miranda, as well as her grandchildren: Abbygail, Brock, and Colton, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
Donna’s family also includes her brothers: Stanley Williams, Otis Williams, Ronnie Williams, Jerry Williams, Larry Williams, and Justin Williams, along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth and generosity.
She was predeceased by her parents, Emmet and Helen; her husband, Jesse Lloyd Emery; her daughter, Kristina Emery; and her siblings: Monte Dean Williams, Russell Williams, Phyllis Boese, Judy Ramsey, Willeta "Billie" Elfers, Jean Dunn, and Margie Messick. Each of these loved ones held a special place in her heart, and their memories remain a comforting presence for all who knew her.
Donna had a passion for reading, enjoyed attending football games, and cherished spending time with family. Her vibrant spirit and compassionate nature touched everyone around her, creating lasting bonds of affection and respect.
A viewing will be held in her honor on October 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1000 South Lombard Lane, Skiatook, OK 74070. The funeral service will take place the following day, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the same location.
As we celebrate the life of Donna Marlene Emery, may her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication serve as an inspiration to us all. She will be missed profoundly but remembered fondly by those whose lives she touched.
