Donna Emo passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. She was born in Dunkirk,New York, the daughter of the late Floyd "Stub" and Alice Delcamp Sunday.

Donna attended Brocton Central School before beginning her career with the County of Chautauqua in 1967. She later retired from the New York State CourtSystem in 1998 after 31 1⁄2 years of service.

A dedicated servant to her community, Donna was a 40-plus-year life member of the Lake Chautauqua Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars #8647 Auxiliary in Mayville, New York. She was also a 40-plus-year member of the Lakewood Memorial Legion Auxiliary, serving multiple times as President, County President, and 8th District President.

In 2008, Donna moved to Sebring, Florida, where she found joy in her home, friendships, and the Florida sunshine. She took great pride in building a strong sense of community within her neighborhood and adopted hometown.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diana Dorman (June 2, 2010) of Westfield, New York, and her son, Dennis Dorman (August 4, 2014) of Cassadaga, New York. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred, Floyd (Dee), and Charles Sunday; her sister, Maxine Deland; and four nephews, Nicholas and Randy Deland and Donald and Ronny Sunday; as well as her niece, Luann Sunday Farrell.

Donna is survived by her companion, James LaCount of Sebring, Florida, and his family in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Guillory and wife Tiffany of Milton, Florida; Jessica Holliday and husband Isaac of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina; Dennis Dorman and girlfriend Randi Hale of Sinclairville, New York; and Amanda Emo of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Madison, Aidan, Jonas, and Cole, as well as several nieces and nephews. Two very special people, Alan Lehman and Sandra Kuhn, also survive her.

Donna’s legacy is one of resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to others. She was a woman who led by example, who believed in doing things the right way, and who left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a sharp wit, a kind heart, and a strength that never wavered. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on.
