Donna Mae Face, 95, of Charlotte, a kind-hearted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, died peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024 in Marshall. Donna was born November 26, 1929 in Charlotte, the daughter of Bruce Thomas and Ester (Howard) Barrett. Many will remember Donna's Family Restaurant in Olivet, which she owned and operated until her retirement in the 1980s. Donna and her husband, Olivet Police Chief Oscar Face, enjoyed many years of dressing up as Mr. and Mrs. Claus and making several appearances throughout the area, including the Country Mill. Above all, Donna loved her family.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Williams; grandchildren, David (Rene) Williams, Art (Carrie) Williams, Garrick (Katie Kikendall) Williams, Allen Emerson, Deborah (Robert) Dinkenbrink, Amy Brown, and Jeff Bisel, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Dakota Williams, Mykaela Williams, Brooklyn Williams, Mackenzie Williams, Anthony Williams, Justin (Chelsea) Williams, Jordan (Alison) Williams, Chayane Johnson, Taylor Lawrence, Dennis Lawrence, and Kendall DeLong; great-great-grandchildren, Silas, Wyatt, Blaire, Charlie, and Allisa Williams; son-in-law, Bill (Ann) Face and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Face; son, Jeffery Bisel; daughter, Debora Bisel; and her four siblings.
