Donna Wastweet Felt

On February 29, 2024, Donna Wastweet Felt, 83, of Bagley, Minnesota, went to her heavenly home after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a prayer service& sharing, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, MN. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bagley, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Jeremy Davies will be officiating. Interment will be held at the Nora Township Cemetery, in Bagley, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to the Joe Lueken Cancer Center or Bethel Lutheran Church.
Donna was born on December 8, 1940, to Roy and Gladys Bjerke. She was raised and educated in Clearbrook/Leonard Minnesota. She attended and was confirmed at Our Saviors Church in Leonard, Minnesota.
She married Lavern Wastweet on December 12, 1959. Together they raised two children, Connie, and Kevin. After the death of her first husband, she later married Ken Felt.
Donna worked part time at Netland Assisted Living that later became Haugen's Assisted Living. Donna enjoyed baking and making lefse. She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Calvary Church, and Lake Itasca Regional Pioneer Farmers Organization. It was there she began demonstrating lefse making, which turned into a full-fledged Wastweet Kitchen of lefse and fry bread.
From an early age Donna enjoyed music, from RFD Polka Music to most recent Sunday evening gospel sing-a-longs.
Donna is survived by her most precious treasures, 9-great grandchildren, Kalen, Branlee, Demi, Kaisen, Karson, Aiden, Xavier, Parker, and Avery. 4-grandchildren, Brandon Wastweet, Breanna Wastweet, Christine (Pat) Christiansen and Shannon (Joe) Butler. Her daughter, Connie (Mike) Miller, and stepchildren, Randy (Jackie) Felt, Carroll (Becky) Felt, Rodney Felt, Rob (Susie) Felt and Ginny Felt. Siblings - Shirley Aakre, Carol Sauer, Ron (Linda) Bjerke, Lowell (Margaret) Bjerke, Brothers-in-law- Jim Chelsey, and Duane (Joan) Wastweet, Sister-in-law- Shirley Schultz and many close friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents - Roy and Gladys Bjerke; her first husband- Lavern Wastweet; her second husband - Ken Felt; her son- Kevin Wastweet; sister- Joyce Chesley, and brother- Les Bjerke; Daughter-in-law- Dawn Wastweet; and Brothers-in-law Harlan Aakre, and Wayne Sauer.
