Donna Gail Thomas Fraley, of Gorman, Texas, passed peacefully from this life here on earth on her way to heaven to be reunited with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Donna was born in Quannah, Texas, on December 13, 1955, to the late Jerry Jones and Mary Madeline Hardiman Thomas. She married the love of her life, George Fraley, on March 30, 1974, in Kirland, Texas. Donna spent most of her life in the Nursing profession, working several years at the Gorman Nursing Home, and as a home health nurse. But most of all she loved being a homemaker. Donna was a very devout Christian. She and George were members at New Hope Baptist Church in Gorman. Donna was ‘the life of the party’, she loved spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. She and George have spent the last 52 years in Gorman.
Survivors include her husband, a marriage of 52 years, George; son; Travis and wife Martha Fraley of Gorman; daughter, Amy Fraley of Eastland; grandchildren, Dalton Fraley, Chasity and husband Josue Martinez, Jasmine and husband E. J. Guzman, Lesslie Fraley, Jeremy Hostetler, and Christian Zolfaghar; great grandchildren, Aria Guzman, Sissy Guzman, and Sia Martinez; sisters, Jan and husband Randy Watts, and Sandy; brothers, Dean and wife Tammy Thomas, and Mike Foreman; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Donna was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Pauline Thomas; sister, Debbie Foreman; brother, David Foreman; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Ted Beggs, and her mother-in-law Era Fraley.
Funeral services for Donna will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15th , at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Gorman. Burial will follow at the Gorman Cemetery. Visitation with the Fraley family will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home in Gorman.
