Donna Jean Haase, 76, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away at 9:10 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, at her residence.
Donna was born March 11, 1946, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of William and Anna Haller. She married William Haase in October of 1977 in Mitchell, Indiana; he preceded her in death on August 21, 2001.
Donna retired as a manager from Citizens Tribune in Morristown, Tennessee and had previously worked as a phlebotomist and lab technician at Ascension St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford, Indiana. She was a member of Goins Chapel Baptist in Sneedville, Tennessee. Donna enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crafts, bowling, dancing, hunting, and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne (Sandra) Haase, Larry (Fran) Haase, and Jason (Tina) Haase, all of Sneedville, Tennessee; daughters, Tammy (Johnathan Lueders) Madden, Robin Spicer and Crystal Collins, all of North Vernon, Indiana; sister, Maryanne Goudy of St. Louis, Missouri; twenty-one grandchildren; and forty-four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Leora "Chris" Collins; and several siblings.
A visitation for Donna will be held from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon, Indiana and on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Goins Chapel Church in Sneedville, Tennessee from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Goins Chapel Cemetery in Sneedville, Tennessee.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Goins Chapel Church in Sneedville, Tennessee.
